In an impressive display of community spirit and camaraderie, Tim Montana, renowned recording artist and avid outdoorsman, successfully hosted his sixth annual American Thread Sporting Clays Shoot, raising more than $307,000 for Special Ops Xcursion. This heartfelt event, dedicated to supporting active-duty Special Operations Forces and their families, has now exceeded a lifetime total of an astounding $1.8 million raised since its inception.

The vibrant two-day fundraiser kicked off at City Winery Nashville on September 29 with an unforgettable dinner auction and concert. Stars such as Billy Gibbons, Gavin DeGraw, and Craig Morgan graced the stage, delivering a night filled with stellar performances and special moments. Notably, during the concert, Army veteran Craig Morgan was honored with the prestigious Order of Saint Michael-Airborne Award, a surprise that moved many attendees.

The following day, participants gathered at the Nashville Gun Club, where the excitement reached its peak during the clay shooting competition. The event featured thrilling military demonstrations, including parachute landings and helicopter displays, captivating attendees and underscoring the event’s commitment to honoring those who serve.
